Where can I stay in Marlborough?

I am looking for a two night stay in your lovely town for me and my wife for our anniversary on the 15th of Dec.Can anyone advise/tell me of any hotels/guesthouses/pubs to stay in and on what day(s)is the market in your town if it still held.

The Old Forge in East Kennet is lovely - it is a B&B run by a Mr and Mrs Feeley.  Sorry havent got the details to hand at the moment, but highly recommended..
