I suppose everyone is on face book is that the reason no one is using this forum or is it because nothing happens in marly what shall we talk about the crap councilers? the crap government ? the even crapper tory opposition the wankers, sorry bankers. or even the existance of god and the tooth fairy come on people or rob will shut the forum down
There are people on here it's just that they are shy and won't post (11 people looked at this post for example). it would be nice if more posted and it became a "Marlborough thing" .....so does anyone know if Wilkinsons are coming to the town...I haven't heard a thing......and how about Tesco ....normally if they say they want to site a super market market outside town ..then that is what always happens! because they have the power and money to do what thet want. They are never going to put it in the old very small sites in town although they may have one of those as well.
Personally I don't like Tesco's food very much and prefer the likes of Asda but at least we could get a cheap fuel station out of it and free parking while we shop

Watch this space rocker for a breaking story on Marlborough Town Council involving both Councillors and employees!
With a lot of luck and a following wind we could actually ... finally .... see some things hit the fan that will force real changes including resignations ..... if that happens then .... well it will be up to people such as you guys (rocker and yes you Rob as well!) to step up to the plate and see whether collectively those who do give a damn about this town and the ordinary folk who live here can take the opportunity.
The agendas for the two special meetings on the town council website (tonight and last Monday) and also the minutes for last week show that all is not well in "Town Council Land"
Trust me ..... more information is forthcoming....................!
It would seem that at the moment all the councillors want to do is score points off of each other, the town takes second place to that while the present councillors are there I wouldn't go anywhere near it let alone try and join what has become a whining toothless farce
