this could be a conversation with myself

Just wondered why very few people are using this forum you don't have to sign on if you don't want to and you can post anonymously if you wish so no one will now who you are and apart from swearing and vicious attacks on others ( the offending article will be removed) you can say what you like..........you can ask for help or assistance......you can ask for and give opinions.........you never know someone may just have that lesser spotted smoke grinder you always wanted and promised yourself......just try it.....please

but like the title says if you are not posting in here I could be talking to myself

No no - you are not talking to yourself but maybe this sebsite needs a bit of advertising?  Not sure - the trouble with Marlborough is often very busy people who are doing lots or apathetic people who are doing nothing at all!  Not much in between maybe.  The other thing is - this message board is not that easy and when you click on reply and start typing, the box quite often seems to disappear.  Anyway, i think it is a great website - keep it going!

Hi:

I stop in now and then. I love visiting this site.  And since you asked for questions, here is mine:  If someone wanted to drive from Aberdeen, Scotland to Portsmouth, England how long would it take?  Just wondering, as I hope to visit someday. Thanks, Betsy in Ithaca, New York

There are some good tools on the web to help plan trips- I use Mapquest here in the USA.  Last time Iwas in Aberdeen, I then drove to Stirling via Aviemore- it was great.  The next evening I drove from Stirling to Hampshire and did the 500 miles in 500 minutes, but the roads were quiet and it was one of the best runs I'd ever had.  I think you might like an overnight stop coming from Aberdeen- maybe somewhere in a nice part of Yorkshire?
