Marlborough based events crew 'Feelgood Promotions' will be launching their flagship night, 'funkorama' in Swindon early this year. Funkorama will launch at The Studio in old town on Saturday April 22nd 2006 with resident dj Wize playing his unique flavour of funk, hiphop and soul.
The driving force behind Feelgood, Phil Brady says:
"I see Swindon has a growing youth scene with vibrant interests in music and entertainment, yet it lacks club culture. We will provide a night in Swindon that will be legendary in years to come offering a selection of Funk, Soul, and Hiphop with a side order of freestyles thrown in for good measure. Our nights kick off with a sub-cultural underground flavour until word spreads to call clubbers in with eclectic tastes from all over. Our nights are filled with a thriving surge of revelers with one thing in mind – to get down with our bad selves to the funked-up rhythm of yesteryear and the beats of tomorrow, and to let loose to the sound of the funkorama underground."
