RIP Carnival

We waited for 2 hours last night to see if anyone would turn up for the Carnival meeting....and as we expected not one person did....so what happens now?
We will hold a donations evening and an AGM when the books have been done and then the carnival will be wound up and the books/money etc. will be lodged either withe the MCP or Marlborough Council in case someone wishes to revive it in the future.

Sad but these things happen no

The AGM & Charity Awards for Marlborough Carnival Fun Day 2009 took place last night, Wednesday 16th December, at the Marlborough Town Football Club.

The core existing and new volunteer committee for 2010 is now in place and Marlborough Carnival Fun Day tentatively set for Sunday 12th September 2010

The first meeting will take place in late January, date to be determined, at the Marlborough Town Football Club.    New helpers are always welcome at any time of year.

We'll make sure the Marlborough Carnival Fun Day is advertised on the Aldbourne Website.

Please keep us up to date and let us know how we can help with publicity in by contacting us on acwphotos(at)btinternet.com
