So- where do you live, either in Marlborough itself, just outside, in Wiltshire, England, or further afield. I and maybe others would like to know. That's one of the great things about the internetthat we can communicate.
Well in Marlborough obviously but on the Northern edge just opposite the Golf Club

I live right in the middle of Marlborough by the River Kennet - and I soooo love it! I hope I never have to move away - but none of us know what the future will hold - we just have to live for the day and hope tomorrow turns out alright!
I lived in Marlborough for a number of years, firstly with the family in London Road and latterly, after I had been in London for a few years, in my own place in the High Street. It was great living there with so many pubs within the MSD- maximum staggering distance! Then I moved to Fordingbridge, in the NW corner of the New Forest. But just over a year ago we, that is my wife, daughter, myself and dog and cat, all moved to Houston, Texas.
Surprisingly we all love it here, for different reasons. I love Texas, especially the countryside, which includes mountain ranges, deserts and the Gulf of Mexico.
You're so right about what the future may hold, Angel. We are coming to the UK in August to live back in our house in Fordingbridge. My daughter has passed the entrance exam to South Wilts Grammar School for Girls, in Salisbury.
So, I guess the moral of the story is, enjoy what you've got whilst you've got it.
Born in Marlborough at 6, Coldharbour Lane, lived in Southview Place.Went to St Mary's? in Herd Street, then St Peters boys in the High St. Moved to Calne then Swindon, I live in Cheltenham now with my wife. I have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.I still have cousins in the town. I have happy memories of my life in Marlborough, but of course every day was sunny!!.
