I'm up too. Amazing what we do so we we can ourselves silly isn't it.My turkey just gone in 6.30.a.m. Did you have any snow last night. I checked the webcam but it looks like theres a film or frost on the lens, can't see anything.
No we haven't had any snow although it is quite cold the wind is just going round and is coming from the North so we may get some later on, the webcam looks out of an upstairs window in a friends house which isn't double glazed so it tends to steam up sometimes but he can't do anything about it, he has aimed the fan from his server at it but it doesn't always clear it.
The dinner turned out brilliant, turkey, roast and mashed potatoes, parsnips, bread sauce, sprouts. carrots, cranverry sauce and gravy just won't have any room for tea now, can't have a drink as two of the tablets I am taking say avoid alcohol..... never mind, but apart from that very enjoyable day so far.

Sounds like you had a great dinner. Mine was really good too, pretty much the same as your only I didn't have parsnips this time. Have to have the sprouts so I can make bubble and squeak tomorrow. I think I look forward to that just as much as the turkey dinner.
Yep you hit the nail right on the head ...it's nice to have something a bit special but a "normal" meal the next day tastes all the better for it.
Really hard frost last night but still no snow, beautiful blue sky this morning and it is forecast to stay dry but cold so we might go out for a walk today somehow I have got to loose some weight before I go in to hospital and get a bit fitter if I want to be back at work insde 2 months!

Hi Rob, I really know what you mean about losing the weight. I have to get busy on it too, before its too late. But of course I have to have the bubble and squeak today !!!! lol
I see from the webcam this morning that it is a beautiful day over there, looks really nice. I can see what you mean today about the condensation on the window the webcam looks out of. Its not quite as bad today. Better than nothing and its nice to see the High Street and think of years ago. Hopefully I will be back for a visit before too long.
